Cannabidiol, or "CBD," is a powerful plant-based ingredient found in Spekr products that helps balance, regulate, and strengthen your endocannabinoid system—the master regulatory system of your body. The endocannabinoid system is found in humans and animals and helps balance and maintain many physiological systems including sleep, pain, emotions, inflammation, memory, appetite, immunity, fertility, and reproduction.

We use 99% CBD isolate made in Kentucky, USA. Isolated CBD is the purest form of CBD, without the presence of other cannabinoids such as THC, terpenes, or potential impurities like anti-nutrients.

Products that are manufactured from agricultural hemp, which contains less than 0.3% THC in dry weight, are exempt from the Federal Controlled Substances Act, therefore are currently not unlawful for distribution in the United States. Hemp laws vary outside of the United States.

CBD is a non-psychoactive compound, meaning it does not get you “high.” THC is the main psychoactive compound in the cannabis plant, and Spekr products have zero-THC.

Spekr CBD products are made with 99% CBD isolate, with zero-THC. Quest Diagnostics is one of America's biggest drug testing companies. Their senior director of science and technology, Dr. Barry Sample, said in an interview, (link) “CBD, itself, on our tests, would not be confused with either THC or THC metabolite...Analytically, we can clearly differentiate the two substances.” He continued, “because CBD is chemically distinct from THC, it is unlikely that pure CBD would be detected in these types of drug tests.” But, “if somebody is using a CBD oil that contains residual THC in it, they very likely could test positive on a urine drug test. Not because of the CBD itself but because of a contaminant that is in that oil,” he said.
